Hi everyone, it’s AJ McClary and I want to talk to you today about a topic that’s really taboo. This is a Universal Truth that applies to every single person watching this video and acknowledging it will help you gain perspective on what’s really important in life and will hopefully serve as a reminder for those who aren’t living their life the way they really want to.
So what Universal Truth applies to every single person watching this video? That Truth is that you are going to die someday and you don’t know when that will happen. It could happen today, it could happen in 6 months, it could happen in a few years, it could happen 50 years. You don’t know when, but one thing is guaranteed—you will die someday. Nobody has forever in their body. Nobody has been able to escape death. It’s part of life.
For that matter, we don’t even know for sure if there is life after death. For all we know, this could be it. Conscious intelligence in an organic form on this small little planet in the Milky Way Galaxy—the only habitual planet known to science. That slogan the kids are saying nowadays “Yolo, you only live once…” — it definitely gets you thinking about what’s really important.
Now I don’t believe that this is it. You all know I’m big believer in the afterlife, reincarnation, and the concept that we’re spiritual beings having a human experience. But we came into this existence with amnesia. We don’t have any memories of who we were before we got here. And all we have are some mere glimpses of our soul beyond our bodies.
So what does mean? Given this perspective, placing your level of consciousness at place where you know you’re going to end up, what should happen in between now and when you die. This is a really important question. It’s answers that “What is my soul purpose?” question rather quickly. At the very least, it answers what your purpose is not. I invite to take a moment and journal about this.
What kinds of things are you willing to put up with? What are you willing to tolerate? What are you willing to do daily? What are you not willing to do? Who are you going to associate with? If you were to die in 90 days, what changes would you make to your life immediately? I realize I’m getting a little dark here, but I really want to challenge you to unplug from collective consciousness, step outside of the matrix and look at things for what they really are.
What inspired this topic was one of my Tarot students who had some concerns about the “Death” card in the Major Arcana. It brought up a lot of fear and negativity around death that a lot of us go through. We were taught at a young age that death was worst thing that could happen to you. But the “Death” card is not about death at all. It’s about life. It’s about change. I like to think it’s about killing that part of you that you don’t want to exist anymore and rebirthing an aspect of who you really want to be. Because we’re dying every day. You’re not the same person you were 20 years ago. You’re only the person you choose to be today.
