I’ve been on this amazing spiritual journey for the past eight weeks. It’s sorta like a shamanic journey, but the lessons and aha moments have been so life altering. I’ve been able to remove anger from my body. I learned how to manage my emotions better. My clairaudience and clairvoyance have really opened up for me. I’ve become a lot more powerful and a lot more whole. There’s one thing I’ve really been focusing on recently—it’s the topic of illusions.
Have you ever seen the movie The Matrix, with Keanu Reeves? Everything his character thought was real was actually an illusion. It’s an excellent metaphor for metaphysics. None of this is really real. It feels like it’s real, but we’re only here for a short time and then we die and according to my belief system—reincarnate. There are certain lessons we’re here to learn and certain events that play out to help us learn those lessons.
When we recognize this is all just an illusion, that our existence goes on after we die, we’re able to see that the things that upset us in our life really don’t matter in the end. One spiritual practice you can start doing right now is ask yourself “Is what I’m saying really true, or is it just an illusion?”—It’ll change your life!
Recently, I asked my guides “Why are these obstacles showing up for me?” The answer I received back was this:
“You don’t have obstacles. You only have a perception of them.“
That created a huge shift in my life. It’s so true. When you really start to look at your life from the perspective of you being the powerful creator of your own experience, you realize that obstacles actually don’t exist at all. Sure, you can encounter what seems like an obstacle in your life, but you can also make new choices! Obstacles exist as a spiritual teacher. They teach us to try things differently. When we make new choices, the obstacles go away and in return you can create newer experiences.
Here’s the cool side effect of looking at life’s problems as a perception of an obstacle—you immediately position your consciousness to a place of empowerment. You know when obstacles show up, you just have to make new choices or push through them. When your intention is powerful enough, you’re unstoppable!
I really want to challenge you this week. What is showing up in your life as an obstacle? Can you position your consciousness to a place where you can see it instead as a perceived obstacle and then create new choices for yourself? Leave a comment bellow, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
P.S. I wanted to let you know that I’m going to be doing a Google Hangout with my friend Jennifer Sanders November 12th at 1pm EST. We’re talking Tarot and doing some readings. It should be fun. If you wanna join in, CLICK HERE.
