Everybody’s been talking about it lately: Shielding, bringing in white light, clearing, using violet flames, smudging, protecting themselves from “darkness”—but I really want to challenge you—what do we REALLY have to be afraid of anyways?
Here are some things I’ve been hearing from other spiritual seekers lately:
- Fear that others will judge us negatively because of our beliefs.
- Fear that our aura will become polluted by other people’s stuff.
- Fear that negative entities will attack us in our sleep.
- Fear of psychic attack from people who don’t like us.
- Fear that other people can “make us feel bad”.
- Fear that dark forces can “cord us” and feed off our energy.
- Fear of not reaching “enlightenment” fast enough.
I’m working on a spiritual practice at the moment that involves releasing fear—so of course, I’m starting to pay attention to the illusions in life that make us feel unsafe. Because that’s where all of this comes from after all, the fear of losing our safety. This kind of fear is different than our natural physical response to running into oncoming traffic or jumping off of a cliff. This kind of fear is ego based and it’s the negative polarity that shows up when we step into our role as light workers and our soul purpose.
I realize this might come a cross as controversial to some—especially those whose fears really help make them feel safe, but you are safe. You’re a spiritual being after all. You’ve made it this far, some estimate that we’ve reincarnated tens of thousands of times and guess what? You’re still here.
Being afraid is a choice we make based off of the illusions we believe in. We’re the creators of our reality and by placing blame on others, we’re dishonoring our own spiritual power. What would really happen if you didn’t shield yourself everyday? What would happen if you just lived a normal life without the rituals, without cutting the ties that bind, without Reiking your food, without clearing your aura? You’d be just fine!
So my intention behind creating this article is that you’ll step into empowerment. Take responsibility for what you create. Make the choice, demand it from the Universe “I am safe, I am perfect, there is nothing wrong with me. Nothing can harm me because I am the creator.”
I challenge you to ask yourself: What do you really need protection from? Are you really that unsafe?
